Sewing Project : How to make your own photo cushion

We were contacted recently by 'The Sewing Directory' who wanted to use our fabric printing services. They wanted to make a tutorial of how to make your own personal fabric cushion, using our custom fabric printing and some other fabrics to back it.

We thought 'what a great idea!' - perfect for gifts for Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Birthdays and other special events.

Laura from Made Peachy, who created the tutorial, contacted us about the best fabrics to use, eventually settling on our natural Cotton Drill, a hard wearing fabric for suitable for cushions.

She uploaded her design to our site, chose the fabric she wanted and received the finished print a couple of days later ready to sew into her product.

You can see a few images of the final project below at the start and the end:

You can click through to the full article here with step-by-step instructions on how to make your own photo cushion.

If sewing is not your thing but you still love the idea, you can always upload your image and order a finished cushion directly through our site. Available in a variety of sizes and fabrics including Cotton, Linen and Velvet.

Many thanks to The Sewing Directory and Made Peachy for sharing the final project with us.
