A Brisbane-based graphic designer, writer and illustrator/artist, Lynn has also enjoyed a long career nursing newborns to adults. Her nursing career has taken her from Australia to the Middle East, where she spent ten years nursing children with cancer. It was during this time Lynn discovered the power of story and art as a means to transport children’s minds to better places, and to help them make sense of their world.
While based in the Middle East, Lynn also travelled the world. On her return to Australia, she studied Graphic Design and Advertising at the Commercial Arts Training College in Brisbane.
Lynn's body of work over the last ten years includes posters, pamphlets, corporate and health educational material, character design, illustrations, logos, greeting cards, packaging and commissioned artworks.
Lynn also writes and has short stories published in The School Magazine. She works predominately in watercolors, as well as digitally and loves developing quirky characters of a whimsical nature.
